Dayton Art Institute Museum Experience Associates are an essential part of the museum's mission and overall guest experience. They support the front of the house departments by providing the highest level of customer service throughout the museum galleries and Museum Store. Associates welcome members and guests, answer general questions, share museum best practices, offer directions, and support the efficient day-to-day operations of the Museum Store. This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of $16.00 - $17.00 based on experience. Successful candidates must be available to work Wednesday through Sunday.

Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one (1) year of sales or customer service-related experience preferred, ideally in a non-profit organization; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time on hard surfaces.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a diverse audience.
- Reliable attendance and known for arriving to work on time.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Interest in the arts and mission of the DAI.
- Knowledge of American Sign Language and/or multilingual a plus
Must pass a criminal background check and drug, nicotine, and tobacco free test.
