This position will actively be involved in Covid screenings and testing

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assists the Community Outreach Department with organizing, implementing and maintaining wellness activities by utilizing their professional knowledge and experience as it relates to their field of expertise. Regularly participates in and promotes wellness programs with concentration on health promotion, disease prevention, screenings and lifestyle modification. The LPN is highly motivated with the ability to work independently of others. The LPN will regularly enhance knowledge base by staying current in health information provided by nationally recognized health organizations. Will act as the liaison at events and will promote and use service lines in the development of programs specifically designed to meet the needs of the community. The LPN will refer clients as appropriate to KHN physicians and services and will track and measure outcomes as mandated. Must be willing to transport work related materials, in employee's personal vehicle, to on and offsite locations as needed. Requires the ability to lift 30-50 pounds as needed. Other duties as assigned. LPN reports to the Clinical Coordinator.

Current LPN license in State of Ohio. Current CPR / BLS certification.


Six months experience in Health Care setting preferred. Experience in community health promotions and programs preferred. Excellent organization, presentation and communications skills required. Ability to work varied hours with some evenings and weekends. Highly motivated and able to work independently. Computer skills - Microsoft office. Excellent customer service skills and be able to function in a team-oriented environment.
